MEET OUR HORSES

Duke and Dixie are our gorgeous team of blue roan Percheron/Belgian cross horses. They are seven years old and both are around 17 hands high. These horses can be ridden as well as driven. These horses were trained to drive by the Amish and spent their early years working farms in Indiana.

This is our Belgian horse, Pete, seen here in harness with Dixie. Pete is 17:1 hands tall and is kind and friendly with everyone. Pete can also be ridden, and he and Dixie are both certified Search and Rescue horses.

Knight is our magnificent black Percheron gelding. He is fourteen years old. Knight stands over 18 hands and weighs just under 2,000 lbs. Knight is one of the biggest horses in Laramie County.

Jet is ready to give riding lessons to all levels of rider. Jet rides English and Western. Jet is seven years old and is also a certified Search and Rescue horse. He has performed mounted patrol duties at the Cheyenne Frontier Days pancake breakfasts and also at the CFD concerts and has traveled the country to perform patrol duties in other states.

Smokey rides Western and excels at speed events. She is also an excellent trail horse. Smokey is now 21 years old, but rides like an eight year old.
